Project description and scope
Complete refurbishment of the corporate offices for its implementation in La Illa Diagonal, at Avenida Diagonal 567, Barcelona.
Objectives of the assignment
Transform the existing offices into a modern, functional space that is representative of the brand’s identity.
Meet the deadlines established for the opening and start-up of the new facilities.
Functions performed as Project Manager
Coordination of technical and creative teams (engineering, interior design and construction).
Management of licenses and permits with the Barcelona City Council and the administration of the shopping center where the offices are located.
Budget control, planning and monitoring of the work.
Technical supervision and quality control.
Main challenges of the project
Correction of previous construction defects
Detection of construction defects inherited from a previous intervention, initiated by another construction company, which presented multiple deficiencies in finishes and installations.
Assumption of the technical management, performance of a construction audit and management so that the previous construction company would correct the defects at no additional cost to the client.
Execution of improvements with offices in operation
Execution of new improvements with personnel already occupying the space once the initial defects have been corrected.
Design of an intervention strategy by zones to minimize inconveniences, guarantee safety and ensure operational continuity.
Final result of the order
Renewed corporate spaces, modern and aligned with the company’s identity.
Correction of defects without economic impact for the client.
