Complete renovation of an office building for its conversion into a Data Center.

Objectives of the assignment


Evaluate the suitability of the building to house a Data Center.
Define different implementation scenarios and prepare a preliminary cost estimate.

Functions performed as Project Manager


Coordination of the multidisciplinary technical team (architecture and engineering).
Preparation of the feasibility report with strategic recommendations for the client.
Direct dialogue with the client, different departments of the city council (licenses, urbanism, energy agency and municipal institute of information technology) and supply companies.

Administrative complexity and institutional coordination


High administrative complexity derived from the coordination with multiple agencies to ensure the legal and technical compliance of the project.
The confirmation of the electricity supply and urban development permits required numerous meetings and negotiation processes to ensure the viability of the assignment.
A direct dialogue plan was established with the different entities involved, prioritizing the obtaining of commitments and the necessary technical documentation.
